These deterministic tools let a connected assistant search the NutriConvo food catalog, read your diary, and record food only when you ask. The same NutriConvo capability service handles each action, so connected clients do not maintain a separate food log.
Connected food-tool access does not include NutriConvo's managed text agent, voice agent, or AI chat. A compatible connected service supplies its own conversational experience.

NutriConvo uses OAuth account linking. Read permission covers food search and diary reads; write permission covers logging, clarification, confirmation, and receipt access.

The connected assistant receives bounded tool results. NutriConvo resolves food, calculates nutrition, applies confirmation rules, and stores committed entries.
