Terms of Service for Instagram Video Controls

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Overview

These Terms of Service govern your use of Instagram Video Controls, a Chrome extension and related website and API service provided by Useful First. By using Instagram Video Controls, you agree to these Terms and to the Instagram Video Controls Privacy Policy.

Product Use

Instagram Video Controls adds playback controls, including a timeline scrubber, to supported Instagram videos and Reels in your browser. The extension modifies the local page interface and does not give you any rights to Instagram content.

You may use Instagram Video Controls only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the service, Instagram, or any other third-party service.

Account And Access

Some features require signing in with Google and maintaining an active trial or lifetime license. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account, browser, and devices. You may manage your product account from the Instagram Video Controls account page.

You authorize Useful First to process the account, checkout, and license information needed to provide access, subject to the Instagram Video Controls Privacy Policy.

Billing

Instagram Video Controls may require a paid license for continued use. Billing is handled by Stripe or another payment provider shown during checkout. Price, taxes, payment details, and license terms are presented during checkout.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid license fees are charged when you complete checkout. Canceling, uninstalling, or choosing not to use the extension does not automatically refund past charges.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Instagram Video Controls. Prohibited activity includes:

  • Attempting to bypass authentication, billing, trial limits, or license checks.
  • Reverse engineering or interfering with the extension, website, API, or backend systems.
  • Using the service to violate laws, third-party rights, or Instagram's terms and policies.
  • Submitting malicious, abusive, or high-volume automated requests.
  • Sharing account access in a way that causes abuse or unauthorized use.

Third-Party Services

Instagram Video Controls depends on third-party services, including Instagram, Google, Stripe, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Useful First is not responsible for outages, changes, or failures in third-party services outside its control.

Availability And Changes

Useful First may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of Instagram Video Controls at any time. Useful First may also update the extension, website, API, pricing, trial limits, license terms, and supported features as the product changes.

Disclaimers

Instagram Video Controls is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Useful First does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every Instagram video or browser workflow.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Useful First will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of access, browser issues, third-party account issues, or business interruption arising from your use of Instagram Video Controls.

Termination

You may stop using Instagram Video Controls at any time. Useful First may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for other users or the product, or fail to pay required fees.

Changes To These Terms

Useful First may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, Useful First will post the updated Terms on the website and update the last updated date. Continued use of Instagram Video Controls after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
