Privacy Policy of Calendar Voice Assistant
Last updated: May 20, 2026
Overview
Calendar Voice Assistant is a Chrome extension by Useful First that helps you create, move, and manage Google Calendar events using voice commands. The product uses your account, Google Calendar access, voice-session input, and requested calendar actions only to provide and operate the calendar assistant.
Information We Collect
When you sign in, connect Google Calendar, or manage access, Useful First receives information needed to provide the product:
- Email address, name, and Google account subject identifier from Google sign-in.
- Google OAuth access scopes and connection status for Google Calendar.
- Calendar event information needed to complete your requested calendar actions.
- Voice commands, voice-session metadata, and generated text needed to understand and apply your request.
- Subscription, billing status, usage limits, and Stripe customer or billing identifiers.
- Signed website cookie and signed extension token.
- Short-lived extension transfer token during website-to-extension sync.
Google Calendar Data
Calendar Voice Assistant requests Google Calendar access so it can list calendars, find events, create events, and update events when you ask it to do so. Useful First uses Google Calendar data only to provide user-facing calendar features you request.
Calendar Voice Assistant's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Voice And AI Processing
Voice-session input may be processed by real-time speech and language-model providers so Calendar Voice Assistant can understand your command and convert it into a calendar action. The product sends only the information needed to process your request and return the requested calendar result.
Useful First does not use Google Calendar data, voice commands, transcripts, or generated calendar actions for advertising or to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your CalendarVoice product account.
- To connect, verify, and disconnect Google Calendar access.
- To interpret your voice command and perform the calendar action you request.
- To sync website sign-in state to the installed extension.
- To support subscription billing, refunds, access management, and account support.
- To show setup, calendar connection, billing, usage, account, and extension state.
- To detect abuse, debug failures, maintain security, and operate the service.
Useful First does not sell user data and does not use Google Calendar data for advertising.
What We Do Not Collect From Google Calendar
Useful First does not intentionally receive or store Google Calendar information unrelated to the assistant actions you ask CalendarVoice to perform, such as:
- Calendar history unrelated to your request.
- Events from calendars you have not authorized the product to access.
- Calendar attachments unless they are part of an event action you request.
- General browsing history outside the product and supported extension pages.
Sharing
Useful First shares data only with service providers needed to operate the product:
- Google, for Google sign-in and Google Calendar access.
- Stripe, for checkout, payment processing, refunds, billing records, and subscription management.
- Speech, language-model, hosting, database, and infrastructure providers used to run CalendarVoice.
Useful First may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the product.
Security And Retention
Account, calendar, billing, and voice-session requests are sent over HTTPS. Website sessions and extension sessions use signed tokens. Short-lived extension transfer tokens expire after 10 minutes.
Useful First keeps account, billing reference, calendar connection, usage, support, and operational information for as long as needed to provide access, maintain billing records, prevent abuse, resolve support requests, and comply with legal obligations. You can disconnect Google Calendar from the account page.
Cookie Policy
Useful First uses a signed, HTTP-only website cookie to keep you signed in to the CalendarVoice account page. This cookie is used for authentication and access management. The Chrome extension also stores a signed extension token in Chrome storage so it can verify your account state without asking you to sign in on every page load.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which may set its own cookies or use similar technologies during checkout. Google may also use cookies when you choose Google sign-in or connect Google Calendar. Those services process data under their own privacy policies.
GDPR Compliance
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar data protection laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to request a copy of your personal data.
Useful First processes account, calendar, voice-session, billing, and usage data to provide the service, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. To make a privacy request, contact Useful First at support-calendarvoice@usefulfirst.com.
